Pace celebrates the genre while skirting the pitfalls of re telling the same old themes. This is just a DAMN GOOD story. I really hope that there's a sequel on the way soon. I enjoyed the whole book. It keep me interested throughout. I also felt he explained the different attributes of the Sahae in a way that was easy to understand. I am really looking forward to the next book.
Loved the characters and the way the world was shaped, the characters manage to grow while remaining realistic. Eagerly awaiting a sequel.
I really enjoyed this book. It is different from anything else out there that I've read. It's fast paced and I really liked the characters and their potential for development. Would definitely recommend this for anyone that likes contemporary fantasy.
I liked the adventure of the tale. Its a teen oriented story. It could do with a more detailed history of the fey creatures culture, for the adult reader. All in all, a fun light read. JB
We have an ophaned baby, a blue elf in the beginning and off the adventure goes. The majority starts in the teenager years and high school (making high school environment very real). There is the teens, puberty, elves, and bad guys. A good read for a teen. The first of a series.
This book had a different twist on magic and how it works. I have enjoyed reading it, a little slow in some parts but non the less a good read.
Just would like the next book please. I stayed up all night reading the book. I want to know what happens next.
