I love this new edition. New to me, anyway. Simpler is better. Christ wants us to be childlike? Read Psalm 73: 20, "Then they will be like a dream that we forget when we wake up. You will make them disappear like the monsters in our dreams." LOL! This is NOT a children's Bible...it is simply TRULY, an Easy to Read Version. I LOVE it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refreshing new read of God's Word. I'd been reading The Message for 4-5 years after reading study Bibles for so long. For pleasurable time with God, in His Word? This is wonderful. I guess you could consider the print Large; definitely not small. I still wear 1.50+ reading glasses with it. I really, really like this new Bible. I would have paid 2x as much for a hardcover of sorts, though.Product details

Easy to understand
Easy to read because the print is bigger, I can read it without my glasses and the way it is written.
I bought this bible for my mom for Christmas, she is 68 years old, and has glaucoma, she says the print in this bible is great for her eyes. I am so glad I found this bible for her.
Finally a bible I can comprehend. As a 2010 traumatic brain injury survivor and having some developmental delays I can easily read and understand what I'm reading. I do recommend buying a cover it though.
Very understandable translation for uncomplicated people. Explains things much clearer than other versions. . Keeping this along with my other versions to compare with when I have questions and don't want to go to a dictionary. Thank you. Everyone with another version should have this one as well. It's an eye opener.
The Easy to Read version is good if your first language is not English. I know that the translation takes some liberties and is a little different that the more accurate translations like the NIV and ESV. However for those who a not completely fluent in English (and the various Biblical idioms), this is a good choice. It is also a good book to teach English to those ESL learners.
